† Blessed and Silent Morning,

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit I begin this day.  

Lord Jesus, my resting Lord, today all is silent in memory that You have given Your precious life for the salvation of the world.  And, as i wait patiently and silently for tomorrow, help me follow Your Blessed Mother’s example of faith and hope, she is truly a pillar of grace and strength for us all.  May the Holy Spirit come to fill me with the same faith, hope and strength as i sit quietly mourning Your death, looking forward to the joyful celebration of Your Resurrection.

May the intercession of our Blessed Mother, St Joseph and the Saints we honor today protect our way and bring us to Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.   Amen.   Our Father….  Hail Mary…

† Bendita y Silenciosa Mañana,

En el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo empiezo este día.  

Señor Jesús, mi Señor en reposo, hoy todo está en silencio en memoria de que Tú has dado Tu preciosa vida por la salvación del mundo. Y, mientras espero paciente y silenciosamente el mañana, ayúdame a seguir el ejemplo de fe y esperanza de Tu Santísima Madre, ella es verdaderamente un pilar de gracia y fortaleza para todos nosotros. Que el Espíritu Santo venga a llenarme con la misma fe, esperanza y fortaleza mientras me siento en silencio lamentando Tu muerte, y esperando la gozosa celebración de Tu Resurrección.

Que la intercesión de nuestra Santísima Madre, San José y los Santos que honramos hoy protejan nuestro camino y nos lleven a Cristo, quien vive y reina con el Padre y el Espíritu Santo, Dios, por los siglos de los siglos.  Amén.  Padre Nuestro….  Dios te salve Maria…
