†Happy and Blessed Morning,

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit I begin this day.  Lord Jesus, You invite us to pickup our cross and follow You, and through Your Church to practice self-denial and self-discipline.  Help me see this as more of an invitation to grace rather than the imposition of a burden. Help me see in the cross  life, consolation, and the path to heaven.  May this Lent be truly fruitful in my life motivated by true love of God and our neighbors.  May the intercession of our Blessed Mother, St Joseph and the Saints we honor today protect our way and bring us to Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.   Amen

†Feliz y Bendita Mañana,

En el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo empiezo este día. Señor Jesús, Tú nos invitas a tomar nuestra cruz y seguirte, y a través de Tu Iglesia a practicar la abnegación y la autodisciplina. Ayúdame a ver esto más como una invitación a la gracia que como la imposición de una carga. Ayúdame a ver en la cruz la vida, el consuelo y el camino al cielo. Que esta Cuaresma sea verdaderamente fructífera en mi vida motivada por el verdadero amor a Dios y al prójimo  Que la intercesión de nuestra Santísima Madre, San José y los Santos que honramos hoy protejan nuestro camino y nos lleven a Cristo, quien vive y reina con el Padre y el Espíritu Santo, Dios, por los siglos de los siglos.  Amén
